Re: Property Manager position
Dear Ms Print,
I am writing to apply for the position of Property Manager at Houses Aplenty, as advertised recently on SEEK.com.au.
I am a highly organised and motivated professional with a Certificate IV in Property Services and over three years’ experience as an assistant property manager.
In my present role, I assist the property manager by conducting inspections and condition reports, preparing lease agreements, assisting with open houses, conducting online marketing, collating brochures, and managing requests for repairs and maintenance. I am experienced in liaising on matters of rental arrears, having assisted the property manager in the collection of bonds, deposits and rents, the sending of eviction notices to tenants, and assisting in communications with owners about such matters.
During my time at Sweetdeal, I have conducted over 200 condition reports and many more rental property inspections. Our current rental portfolio extends to over 170 properties.
After two years as an administrative assistant, and a further three years as assistant property manager, my communication and customer service skills are of the highest standard. Liaising with tenants and landlords, as well as organising repairs and maintenance personnel, are all things I do with ease and professionalism. I strive to keep both owner-landlords and tenants happy through regular communication, and I am proud of the strong relations I’ve built with all of my owner clients.
I am proficient across the MS Office Suite and have experience using GeeDee real estate software packages. I hold my Certificate of Registration and driver’s licence and have my own reliable transport.
I understand that a job in property management extends to Saturday duties, and I am prepared to undertake such work. I am a motivated individual and a strong team player with a professional look and demeanour. I am ready for the next step in my real estate career and believe I would be an asset to the Houses Aplenty team.
My resume is attached and I look forward to being able to discuss the position with you further.

Dear Miss. Earnest,
Re: Application for the post of Apartment Manager
I have seen your agency's advertisement in the newspaper's employment section dated 08/30/2011. I write to you in response of the notice for the position of an Apartment Manager. I understand you need somebody to take care of the branch in Pirates Residential Hub. I am a resident of the area since two years now and am very well aware of the issues faced in this area along with being acquainted with the concerned authorities who are to be contacted for different problems.
As is evident from the recent news that is circulated we have been under renovation and the local committee also has decided to contribute some amount of money for refurbishing the children's park. I see a lot of scope for improvement and business. I have worked in this field for the last one and a half years and have a fair amount of idea of how to attract tenants and maintain good relations with them.
I am sure of having a fruitful association together. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much.

This will help you create a strong and good impression on him or her. If you are successful in doing this half your job is done. Your aim is to get the employer or recruiter to read your resume.
